Graciela Calegari

Following in the profession of her north italian grandparents, Graciela absorbed as a child the spirit of her craft. She learned the supreme importance of cut to flatter the individual body shape and developed a sense of attunement with the customer, how to make her feel good and look great irrespective of age and size.

Her later training built upon the experience she gained as a child. In 1986 she graduated in fashion design from The High Fashion School in Buenos Aires in Argentina. Her early career, from 1987 to 1990, was in television as a stylist on soap operas, reality shows, breakfast time and women's programmes. In 2000, she formed two companies, Muika and Terra, to produce her own designs which were marketed via established South American high street brands such as Bordeaux, Via Vai, Next Time and Up Time.

Yellow Rose Jeans is delighted to appoint Graciela exclusively to design for this new European venture. She embodies the glamour, experience and appreciation of women which is the signature of Yellow Rose and provides the design expertise to support this unique jeans launch.
